The wind. What can we see? Almost nothing… But – here and there whispering of trees, heavy clouds moving fast, rippled surface of a lake, trees all white, because the wind turned their leaves upside down. Waves in the grass. This was the startpoint of my observations - I drew the manifestations in landscapes. And I was watching the little wind blasts and gusts for so long that I assembled a general image of incredibly complicated movement of the whole mass of air, where every part moves in different speed and direction in a dramatically illuminated landscape. I studied a lot about meteorology, turbulences, air tunnel experiments... and I searched for a way how to catch the complicated and fascinating 3D movement into 2D. I made various maps and diagrams, I put objects into the space, that turned with different direction of the wind, I drew th "red wind" (all moving things were red)... Finally I combined both ways, landscape and diagrams. I brought the map of the air movement back to the coventional picture of landscape - as a new layer.
